Hartman Companies, Inc.
Tree and Shrub Warranty
- Hartman Companies, Inc. will warranty all trees and shrubs for a total of one (1) year from the date of purchase. Only plants purchased at full retail price are covered under the warranty. NO SALE ITEMS ARE COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY. In the event that a plant dies or suffers permanent damage within that one (1) year, Hartman Companies will replace the plant with one (1) of equal value. REPLACEMENT PLANTS ARE NOT WARRANTIED.
- Any warranty on installed plant material covers the cost of the plant/tree only. the warranty does NOT cover installation of the replacement plant/tree.
- NO CASH REFUNDS will be given in place of replacement plant. The value of the plant in question will be replaced only with plant material
- Plants of greater value may be substituted as long as the difference between the value of the plant being replaced and the value of the desired, more expensive plant is paid in full at the time of exchange.
- The warranty, along with the original receipt, must be presented to receive any replacement plants.
- Dead or damaged trees and shrubs must be brought to Hartman Companies to be inspected and assessed by our staff. Recommendations will be given to ensure the success of future plants.
- After a complete inspection has been completed, Hartman Companies reserves the right to request that corrective measures be taken before any new plants are replaced.
- All transplants, trees, and shrubs receiving damage from mechanical equipment and all trees and shrubs receiving damage from any act of nature (hail, flood, tornado, snow, deer, rabbits, voles, mice, etc.) will not be covered under warranty. Plants damaged due to negligence of any party other than Hartman Companies, including over watering and under watering, will also be excluded from the warranty.
- All shipments travel at the purchaser’s own risk, unless delivered by Hartman Companies, Inc.
- Hartman Nurseries warranty to the extent of the purchasers price that nursery stock is true to its name and as described within recognizable tolerances.
